Pharos was not just a concert — it was a fully immersive, real-time, audiovisual experience inside a 160-foot dome, viewed by over 3,000 spectators. Each musical composition had its own custom-built digital world, seamlessly transitioning in sync with the performance. The project was a result of close collaboration between the creative team Wolf + Rothstein, visual effects powerhouse Weta Digital, technical production company 2n, and Pixela Labs, who led the core engineering, system architecture, and real-time rendering.

The project demanded high-resolution, synchronized visuals across 12 fisheye-projected surfaces using 5 synchronized workstations. Limited access to the physical dome required a virtual prototyping solution. Over just 7 weeks, Pixela Labs designed, tested, and deployed a complete nDisplay-powered visual pipeline.
While Weta Digital handled final visuals, Pixela Labs ensured technical stability, scalability, and real-time execution, making the dome feel like a living digital organism.
