The iconic Battersea Power Station in London was reimagined as a cultural and technological landmark. As part of its exhibition, Pixela Labs developed an interactive LED table application that lets visitors explore energy generation through real-time visual reactions and tactile gameplay. The installation blends education, immersion, and art — allowing guests to trigger dynamic simulations of energy flows with just a touch or gesture.

Scope of work

The goal was to visualize energy processes in an engaging and symbolic way — avoiding static diagrams in favor of real-time interaction. The LED table consisted of several touch zones, each mapped to a stage of the energy cycle. When a visitor interacts, a cascade of visual changes is triggered across the entire surface: from molecular motion to powering a digital city.
Built entirely on Unreal Engine, the application required fluid response, multi-user logic, and a visual language that made the invisible forces of energy both emotional and intuitive.
